Chapter Eleven

Sage leaned in and nipped at Mustang’s lower lip in a way he normally would have loved. Not today. Instead, he felt like he needed to go shower—again—after what he’d done yesterday.

He shouldn’t have agreed to meet Sage at the lake only twenty-four hours after he’d whored himself for money. He’d spent the entire day fucking a strange woman on camera and he really had thought he could pick right back up with Sage. It wasn’t working out quite that easily.

Her tongue slipped between his lips and he tried to put aside thoughts of anything except her. Then Sage reached for his belt buckle and brought back the memory of Arizona’s rough hands and mouth on him.

He took hold of her hand and stopped her.

“I want to.” Her words were soft and sweet. The exact opposite of Arizona’s angry, harsh tone yesterday.

He shook his head. “No, Little Bit.”

“Stop calling me that. You do it every time we come close to doing anything more than kissing.”

“We’ve done more than kissing.” He remembered how she’d rubbed against him until they’d both almost come.

“Touching each other with all of our clothes on does not qualify as more.” Her voice went from sounding almost angry to sad. “Why don’t you want me?”

“I do. You have no idea.”

“Then why don’t you ever want to do more?”

Drawing in a deep breath, he rolled her over onto her back. “I want to do more. Believe me.” Mustang watched her expression soften.

“Then take more.”

Sitting up on his knees, he glanced around. The spot was secluded, but they were out in the open in broad daylight. Somehow that made it even more arousing for him. Judging from the expression on Sage’s face, the setting was doing it for her too.

Sliding her sundress up her legs, he got his first unobstructed glimpse of her thighs. Gone were the scrawny chicken legs he remembered from their youth.

The sling was in his way so he took it off, tossing it to the side. Unencumbered now, he ran both hands over her curves, pushing the dress higher to expose plain cotton panties and finally, the satiny skin of her belly.

Sage reached and pushed the underwear down past her rounded hips slowly. He swallowed the lump from his throat and watched as more flesh came into view. He shouldn’t have done it, but when the panties reached her knees, he slid them the rest of the way off, tossing them on the blanket next to them.

Then she spread her legs and everything was there in front of him, ready for the taking. He really wanted to take too. He’d spent most of the day yesterday fucking and yet he wanted Sage so badly now he was shaking.

He spread her lips with trembling hands and ran one finger lightly over her most sensitive spot. Sage’s breath caught in her throat as her body jolted from that small touch. Mustang repeated the action and her eyes closed.

Her body, wet and welcoming, was so ready for him he could have buried himself inside her with no effort whatsoever.
